GALLERY CALLS FOR ENTRIES
Cottonwood Center for the Arts offers a myriad of themed calls for artwork for both local and national artists. Whether at the beginning of their artistic journey, or an established career artist seeking new venues of visibility for their work, open calls for entry are a diverse way for any creative in the region to bring visibility to their artwork. Sponsoring an open call for entry eliminates intake fees for artists - removing any financial barrier, and making these exhibition opportunities truly accessible to all.

OPEN MIC NIGHT FOR THE LITERARY ARTS
Cottonwood Center for the Arts offers an open mic welcoming any writer of any level and also welcomes any of the performative arts! All are welcome to attend, community members do not need to read in order to come, we love our crowd participants just as much. We do our open mic each month on the third Friday.

YOUTH SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM
Cottonwood Center for the Arts is committed to creating access to our programming for everyone. If a community member’s financial situation prevents them from taking an art class that they’re passionate about, we have a scholarship program in place. We issue 4 scholarships each month. While we cannot guarantee availability, we strive to accommodate as many applicants as possible.

ARTIST TEST KITCHEN
Four times a year, we host a FREE group critique where artists can get feedback about their art work, share paint recipes, talk shop, and chat with peers in our art community. Creatives are invited to bring just themselves or one or two pieces of art for the opportunity to ask questions, hear tips, and get new inspiration.

ARTIST CAFE
Cottonwood is excited to host ongoing quarterly community discussions exploring the business of art. Local gallery curators, art scene mavens, and artists of all experience levels will have an informal, round table conversation about what it takes to be a professional artist. Artists can look forward to learning about a diversity of topics from guest presenters, and enjoy coffee and libations, and more exciting surprises.

Published by Cottonwood Center for the Arts, this journal grows out of a living, working creative community. We are interested in work that is engaged, attentive, and pushes the expectation of what is possible for our shared worlds. CAM+P looks for inventive and intentional work. CAM+P is good taste in a world gone mad, and provides the opportunity for visual artists and writers to have the validation of formal publication for their works.
