CAM+P

Welcome to CAMP

CAMP — Cottonwood Art Magazine + Press is a literary journal publishing contemporary and inventive art and writing. CAMP is accepting submissions of prose, poetry, and art from May 15th until June 30th 2026 for its inaugural print issue.

Published by Cottonwood Center for the Arts, this journal grows out of a living, working creative community. We are interested in work that is engaged, attentive, and pushes the expectation of what is possible for our shared worlds. CAMP looks for inventive and intentional work. CAMP is good taste in a world gone mad.

Please submit only previously unpublished or unexhibited work. Simultaneous submissions are allowed, as long as we are notified immediately if your piece is accepted for publication elsewhere.

All written submissions must be in English. Translations are welcome and should be accompanied by a copy of the original. CAMP requests first publication rights. After publication, all rights return to the author/artist, with permission for CAMP to archive and promote the work. CAMP does not accept work generated by AI; all submissions must reflect the original creative labor of the author or artist.

Submissions are read blind, so please remove any identifying information from your submitted creative work.

Contributors will receive a free copy of the printed journal.
