MEET YOUR INSTRUCTOR

I learned to cross stitch and embroider from my grandmother, who also taught my mother. In my family, every birth, marriage and important life milestone are marked with a cross stitch sampler. From the first time my grandmother handed me a needle and thread, I was hooked on the art of embroidery!

In my professional life, I own my own content marketing agency, Fitzgerald Creative Services, where I help small businesses and nonprofits enhance their digital brand presence. I also freelance as a local news journalist, with work in The Colorado Springs Gazette, Insider Magazine, the Southern Colorado Business Digest and NORTH Magazine. In my free time, I enjoy horseback riding, curling up with a good book, spending time with friends and family, and spending a cozy night in watching a movie with my fiancée and our three cats.
