CREATIVE BOOKS AND PAGES
INSTRUCTOR: ELISA HUGGINS
Build your own functional and artful book. Store your favorite poems, quotes, mementos, meditation notes, etc., on the beautiful pages you’re going to make. You will build two simple books, accordion style. The first book will be plain accordion (sometimes referred to as ‘concertina’), and the second one will be accordion style with signatures and pockets. Be inspired to sketch, write, paint, or doodle on these pages, expressing your own creativity. Design these pages using various types of paper, watercolor, inks, pens, prints, and other decorative flat items. Make your own collage paper while learning color theory and basic design principles along the way!
MATERIALS
All materials are provided with a $40 supplies fee, payable to your instructor on the first day of class.
