OPENING: AUGUST 4 CLOSING: AUGUST 24

This is the 54th year of the prestigious Young Peoples Art Exhibition. This collection features the best young local artists from Kindergarten through the 12th grade and includes students who attend public, private, charter, and home schools. For several years the exhibition was produced at the Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center and now the show is juried and exhibited at Imagination Space of Imagination Celebration at the Citadel Mall. This exhibition tour includes over sixty works of art and began in May at the Imagination Space. The tour will then continue to the Bemis School of Art and then Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center Museum for the month of July. In August the exhibit will move on to Cottonwood Center for the Arts before being moved to the Colorado Department of Education in Denver, Colorado for the remainder of the year.
