INTRO ADULT GROUP GUITAR CLASS!
INSTRUCTOR: JADEN KNOWLES
Interested in learning how to play the guitar, but not looking for private lessons just yet? Perhaps you’ve taken lessons before, or even tried to teach yourself, but you just aren’t getting as far as you’d like.
Learning the guitar in a small group context can be incredibly rewarding, especially with a teacher who is well-educated, student-centered, and versed in all genres and forms of reading and playing the guitar. With your instructor, Jaden Knowles, your group interests inform what songs and forms he focuses on for the duration of your class.
This class goes over the basic fundamentals of playing the guitar (chords, tabs, rhythm, etc.), while offering enriching material for those at higher levels. It is aimed at making students feel connected, while defining and pursuing their goals and applying fundamental skills through the context of a song. Jaden is an encouraging teacher who believes all students at any age can learn the guitar, and if you’re interested, he also offers private lessons for further education.

MATERIALS
Students should bring a guitar, acoustic or electric (bring your own amp). You may also want to bring a binder or folder and pencil.

MEET YOUR INSTRUCTOR
Come pursue your passion for music with your guitar instructor, Jaden Knowles! Jaden has over 15 years guitar playing and 2 years private teaching experience, as well as a degree in music. He is currently in 2 bands and produces his own music. Jaden is a passionate teacher and is most committed to making sure everyone feels included and accommodated while guiding students out of their comfort zones. Guitar can be an intimidating and overwhelming pursuit at first, but group lessons with Jaden will help illuminate clear and practical steps towards progress that cater to multiple skill levels. Jaden makes sure to meet students at their current level, dispensing with a “one size fits all” approach. Grab a guitar and come join this community oriented experience.
