june 8-12 | 10 am to 12 pm | ages 6-12+ | $100

Day One: Kids will create frit paintings which will be fired in a kiln at 1375 degrees to result in a striking, light laden masterpiece! Day Two: We will use glass powder paint to create molded elements which will be fired for a project on Thursday. Day Three: Glass Mosaic – create clear glass mosaic with cut and scrap glass, frit, and other elements. Day Four: Design a 3D glass painting using the fired elements which were created on Tuesday. Day Five: Powder painting and drawing – creating designs with wet and dry powder on glass which will be available for pick up in one week.

toddlerpaintingtoddler art class: painting and color exploration

july 7 | 10 am to 11:30 am | ages 18-36 months | $15/toddler

Foster your toddler’s creativity! Take an hour and a half to have fun with your child as they get their hands dirty and play with color, crayons, paints, markers, chalk, and paper. Let them explore and interact with other Toddler Artists. We’ll learn about colors and creativity and at the end of the class your child will have a masterpiece or two to proudly display. Parents/Caregivers will be given a take home worksheet with some crafty ideas to display their toddler’s art work. Come have fun and bring out your toddler’s creative creature! Don’t forget to wear clothes that can get a little bit messy.

magical mystical creatures
instructor: lizz driscoll
july 13-17 | 10 am to 12 pm | ages 6-12+ | $100

We will design and construct our own imagined creatures, using wire, paper, adhesives, and many added elements. Dragons, Unicorns, Superheroes, Werecreatures! Whatever we imagine can be created!

Monday: Build basic form with wire and paper, cover with masking tape. Tuesday: Mix adhesive goo, and apply 4+ layers of paper strips uniting the creature and giving it a surface. Wednesday: Apply strips of fabric and unite the body parts. Thursday: Begin to paint and embellish your creation. Friday: Complete painting, embellishment, and seal the surface.
