10 AM TO 11 AM

Cottonwood is excited to host ongoing community discussions exploring the business of art. Every second Saturday, local gallery curators, art scene mavens, and artists of all experience levels will have an informal, round table conversation about what it takes to be a professional artist.

February's topic is "Presentation + Pitch: Approaching the Gallery." We'll be discussing and demonstrating actual techniques for professional, contemporary framing, hanging, and display...everything you need to know to prepare your work for a call for entry or to introduce it to a gallery curator.

After our chat, you are invited to linger for as long as you like for networking and taking in the current art on display. Coffee will be served.

If you have knowledge and experience to share or if you have a particular topic you'd like the group to delve into, please email Annie Pieper at classes@cottonwoodcenterforthearts.com.
