My name is Kendra Page Stone, and I am a photographer originally from Dallas, Texas, currently residing in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
My photographic work predominantly focuses on wildlife, though I also enjoy capturing astronomy, portraits, and landscapes. I earned my Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography from the University of North Texas, where I honed my skills within the College of Visual Arts and Design.
A pivotal moment in my career occurred during a transformative internship in South Africa, where I served as a wildlife and conservation photography intern twice—first for two months and then for three months. This experience ignited my passion even further, and through my photography, I strive to tell engaging stories about the natural world.
I am proud to have been selected for Africa Geographic's weekly selection for two consecutive years in their Photographer of the Year competition. Additionally, I photograph for the Girl Scouts of Colorado at Sky High Ranch, capturing the joy and adventure of Girl Scouts participating in various activities during their time at camp.
I showcase my work on my photography Instagram, @kendrapagephotography, where I connect with an audience that appreciates all things nature. I remain dedicated to expanding my skills, sharing the compelling narratives of the natural world with broader audiences, and advocating for our planet's ecosystems through my work.
