LONG FORM FICTION WORKSHOP
INSTRUCTOR: J.S. KUIKEN

Ever wanted to write a novel but didn't know where to start? This two hour course will cover the basics of writing long form fiction, that is, anything longer than a short story. While that may not seem like a lot, the rules, structure, character, and complexity of a piece excitingly increase with each page. In this workshop you will explore literature (no worries, no required reading!) and the foundations of what makes a novel (or any form of longer fiction) different from a short story. You will also have the opportunity to workshop and develop your own writing through exercises and activities.

MATERIALS
A supply fee of $10 per person to cover printing costs.
