BREATH, BALANCE & BEGINNING T'AI CHI
INSTRUCTOR: MAGGIE R MACINDOE LCMT
For centuries the people of China have improved their health and lengthened their lives with this slow-moving, relaxing and balancing exercise. Accessible to any age or ability, it can be called a “moving meditation." As a form of martial art, it is referred to as “the gentle art of yielding.” In this 4 class workshop Maggie will teach warm up exercises and the beginning postures of the Yáng style Cheng Man-ch’ing short form. Maggie teaches the yang style she learned from Peggy Zehring who learned from Ping Siang Tao. Maggie has been playing T’ai Chi since 1989.
