SKETCH HUNTERS: INK AND WATERCOLOR
INSTRUCTORS: JANA L. BUSSANICH AND/OR LESLIE MCCREA
Join us for our new summer sketch series, offered Wednesdays and Thursdays, June, July, and August 2019.
“The sketch hunter moves through life as he finds it, not passing negligently the things he loves, but stopping to know them, and to note them down in the shorthand of his sketchbook.”
― Robert Henri
Instructors Jana L. Bussanich and Leslie McCrea recently returned from a 10 day Art Holiday in England where they further developed their art journaling skills using line and wash techniques. Learn to keep an art/travel journal using pen and wash techniques with permanent ink and watercolor. During these instructor-led walking tours, participants will make lose sketches and paint scenes of downtown Colorado Springs in personal art journals.
Each tour starts offsite at Jana L. Bussanich Art Studio located at 218 W. Colorado Avenue, under the bridge. Arrive at 9:30 am to meet members of the group, enjoy morning coffee and instructor demonstration. Groups will depart on foot at 10:00 a.m., returning by noon. You may treat your registration like a four session punch card: come consecutively OR to the sessions that work with your summer travel schedule before August 29 (no refunds). Request a printed punch card by replying to your registration confirmation email (contact Annie Pieper, our Education Director with any questions: email@example.com).
