INSTRUCTOR: AUSTIN BOX

Tai Chi is an ancient and graceful form of exercise involving a series of movements performed in a slow, focused manner. This low impact activity increases flexibility and improves balance for people of all ages and physical ability levels.

Austin Box is an artist, warrior, advisor, mentor and an elder in the Southern Ute Tribe. He currently teaches Tai Chi at the Fountain Valley Senior Center and is a huge believer in the adage "if you don't use it you'll lose it." His lifetime of learning, teaching, and serving includes experience as a U.S. Air Force veteran, 10th degree blackbelt Tae Kwon Do holder and instructor, and a U.S. Martial Arts Hall of Fame inductee.
