ARTIVISM CAMP FOR CHILDREN (K-2ND GRADE)

Recommended for K-2nd grade aged children.
In this class we will explore the dimension of skin hues and how it relates to segregation and stereotypes. We shall discuss various roles of our community leaders and their abilities to create change. We will learn how peaceful protest through the arts affects positive change as well. Class will end with a take-home art and activism production by your child. There are partial scholarships available on a first come first served basis. The class size is limited to 10 students, and early registration is encouraged.
Please have your child wear a shirt or apron a to protect their clothing. All other supplies are included with a $10 materials fee payable at the first day of class.
